Possible Worlds

A 2000 Canadian film adaptation of the play of the same name, written by John Mighton.  The film is the first English language film directed by Robert Lepage, the acclaimed multi-disciplinary director with whom Rick has collaborated throughout his career.  Rick co-stars with Academy Award-winner Tilda Swinton, Tom McCamus and Sean McCann in a complex, philosophical murder mystery.   POSSIBLE WORLDS received its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, garnered wide critical acclaim, won two Genie Awards, and was nominated for a further four.  An interesting story:  Rick met another frequent collaborator, Daniel Brooks, on the set of POSSIBLE WORLDS.  Daniel had directed the play on which the film was based, and was given a small role in the film.  Rick and Daniel went on to create BIGGER THAN JESUS and HARDSELL.
